(edited as of July 31st) I took my vehicle to Toyexus for a check up and the recommendation was a water pump replacement and a major service. The major service for my vehicle has seemed to have gone well, but the water pump installation was a “complete failure of installation” as per the Lexus dealership that took a second look for me. Supposedly, silicone used to seal the water pump had melted and created space for the coolant to leak out. I had a couple of calls with the manager, Paul, who was straight forward and respectful about the situation. I wanted to give this shop a fair chance, especially because they’re local and seemed reputable. My experience started with a brake issue.
